- 130g butter
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/3 bottle of black food coloring
5g LASSE LAKRITS powder (liquorice root extract)
Melt the butter and stir in the sugar. Then add the remaining ingredients and knead everything. Then roll out on a greased sheet, about 30 × 30 cm. Flour the dough and roll well. Bake at 175 ° C for 10 minutes.
Cut into rhombuses while still warm. Mix the glaze with black paint and a pinch of licorice powder and then enjoy.
Leave liquorice as a topping and spice

Leave liquorice syrup
- 15 ml of still water
- 2 tsp LASSE LAKRITS pure powder
- 1 tsp. LASSE LAKRITS salt
- 2.5 bars of LASSE LAKRITS pure liquorice
- 90ml sugar syrup
Heat the shredded sticks together with the pure powder in a saucepan in water at medium temperature and dissolve with stirring. Bring to the boil after adding the syrup and let simmer for a few more minutes. Now the syrup can cool down and be served or be stored cool in a sealable bottle.
It is ideal for spicing up desserts such as vanilla ice cream or lemon sorbet
Leave liquorit liqueur
An interesting alternative to pure enjoyment or pouring on with sparkling wine and fruits!
- 6 sticks of LASSE LAKRITS pure liquorice
- 350 g of sugar
- 1 liter of water
- 250 ml alcohol (e.g. grain or vodka)
First loosen the sticks of real LASSE LAKRITS in water over medium heat, then the sugar, stirring regularly. When liquorice and sugar have completely dissolved, add alcohol. Now let the liquid cool down, fill into sealable bottles and store in a cool place. Tip: Drain through a filter to sieve out undissolved pieces.
Leave liquorice salad
Salads are infinitely variable depending on the season and can be supplemented with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. A subtle liquorice note goes well with the dressing or on toasted pieces of bread.
Dressing: Squeeze the juice of half a lemon, mix with good olive oil and a teaspoon of mustard. Depending on the taste by adding e.g. Mild 1 teaspoon of cottage cheese. Then season with LASSE LAKRITS powder, salt and pepper, Voila!
Crispy topping: Fry slices of white bread in olive oil, season well with LASSE LAKRITS salt and pepper. Drain on kitchen paper before serving, so that the toasted pieces of bread become crispy.
Leave liquorice gravy
Deliciously spicy variation of the well-tried roast companion, great with dark meat!
- 1 stick of LASSE LAKRITS pure liquorice
- 200ml beef stock
- 200ml cooking wine (red or white)
- LASSE LAKRITS salt or pure salt
After frying the meat in the pan, heat the stock and wine slowly and dissolve the LASSE LAKRITS stick in it. Then thicken with cornstarch and season to taste with salt and pepper.
